Abstract

This study seeks to explain the core picture of the philosophical foundations of development outlined by Khurshid Ahmad and presents a basic analysis of his views on human resources in the Islamic economic development. In this study using a type of qualitative research with a literature study method approach. The results of this study indicate that an increase in Islamic economic development is marked by an increase in overall economic productivity seen from the effectiveness of existing human resources in managing natural resources. Khursid Ahmad explained that Islamic economic development aims to achieve falah can be done through 4 philosophical namely tauhid, rububiyyah, caliph, tazkiyyah. Islamic economic development will increase in harmony with the increased creativity and innovation of human resources in managing natural resources.
