Abstract

ABSTRACT Cash Less Electronic Money (E-Money) Application on The Perspective of Instruction (Fatwa) of National Syariah Board Indonesian Council of Ulama No: 116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 And Maqashid Syariah (Case Study of TapCash iB Hasanah BNI Syariah Surakarta Branch Office, 2018). Selvia Pertiwi 36.2015.32.0706 The development of technology in the modern era, without any exceptions, has also developed cash lesh electronic money. Through is new type of transaction and also for avoid transactions that are not relied on Islamic Principles, it was issued a Fatwa DSN�MUI No: 116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 which is concerning Sharia Electronic Money. E-money is another method of payment. It can be used instead of a credit or debit card to pay the purchasies through the internet or via mobile phone. Initially, Sharia Electronic Money is electronic money in accordance with sharia principles. In Indonesia some of Islamic Finance Institutions have contribution to issued electronic money, one of them is PT. Bank BNI Syariah Surakarta Branch Office. As for purpose of this research is to asses the suitability of TapCash iB Hasanah from BNI Syariah Surakarta with Fatwa DSN-MUI No:116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 concerning Sharia Electronic Money and maqashid syariah. In this research, the writer used qualitative analysis with a descriptive method, the process of collecting the information through interviews with an informants from PT. Bank BNI Syariah Surakarta Branch Office. This method as a tool to reach the information about cash less e-money case study of PT. Bank BNI Syariah Surakarta Branch Office. The result of this research shows that cash less e-money TapCash iB Hasanah at PT. Bank BNI Syariah has a suitability with Fatwa of DSN-MUI No:116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 and maqashid syariah. because TapCash iB Hasanah card is applying wadiah contract as the main contract, and as well as trade and loan (qord) contract in this transaction. However, there is a number of risks that must be taken as not to bring out the misunderstanding until the maqashid syariah and fatwa are not applied in the mechanism. As for the use of the same system between PT. Bank BNI Syariah and PT. BNI and also the safety of the use of TapCash iB Hasanah card still has a high risk to have not PIN system. This thesis is written, the writer ask forgiveness for the mistakes that found in this research. And may this humble thesis be valuable and useful for writer and readers. Amin.
