Abstract

Abstract Community Empowerment Through Waste Management According to Islamic Perspective (Case Study of Trunan Community Magelang City) Muhammad Luthfi Akbar NIM:352014410737 Along with the development of times, now rural areas are experiencing several changes. The changes were made one way to develop the village. However, there are negative impacts from the development of this village, one of which is the issue of waste. The issue of waste in Trunan RT.01.RW.09, South Tidar is increasing due to the increasing economic processes in the region. So, this research was conducted to reveal to reveal the process out it. The results of community empowerment through waste management in Trunan RT.01.RW.09, South Tidar, Magelang City and linking it with Islamic ownership in carrying out it. Ther of this study are sought for the development of concepts and science especially in scientific concepts of social work, Islamic perspective and this research is also expected to be a recommendation for the Government of Magelang City for appropriate waste management activities to be applied Trunan RT.01.RW.09, South Tidar. By using qualitative methods in which field research or field research, which aims to learn intensively about the present situation, the interaction of the environment of a social unit, individuals, groups and institutions or communities and, the results of the study show a form community empowerment, especially customers who carry out management activities garbage. These activities include training and the use of unused goods into items of value for sale and can have an impact on empowerment in the form of material and non-material. This activity was carried tby various communities of Trunan RT.01.RW.09, Tidar Selatan, Magelang City. To be able to maintain the running of this waste management activity, it is necessary to have the support of the village government terms of providing supporting facilities to facilitate waste management activities. In addition, it can also be collaborated with the Magelang city government to assist community empowerment activities through waste management. Keywords: empowerment, waste management
