Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease which has characteristics hyperglycemia caused by abnormalities insulin secretion or insulin work. As a consequence insufficiency insulin function on general patients suffers from diabetes mellitus will get complications with disease hypertension that can result in increased complications microvascular and macrovascular. One of the actions taken for therapy disease with therapy pharmacology. Drug-related problems are circumstances. Where therapy in a manner theory has potential that can disturb goal therapy. This research is aiming for look Drug-related problems category accuracy election dose drug and inaccuracy election drug covers drug effective but not safe, medicine not effective and drug combination not right on Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients complications hypertension at RSUP Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten in 2018. This research is observational studies by collecting record data medical in a manner retrospective on patient take care road type 2 diabetes mellitus complications hypertension at RSUP Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten. Then, it analyzed by method descriptive. Sampling is done with method purposive sampling and obtained sample as many as 89 patients. Results research concluded that number the incidence is much happening on age 60-69 years. Number incident inaccuracy in election drug that includes drug effective, not secure as many as 16patients with the percentage (18%), medicine that not effective as many as 11 patients with the percentage (12%), medicine combination that not as many as 10 patients with the percentage (11%). Number incident accuracy dose covering good oral medicine antidiabetic or antihypertensive that is for dosage drug above therapy as many as one patient with a percentage of 1%, whereas for dosage drugs under therapy as many as 3patients with 3% percentage.
