Abstract

Stroke patients get various drug treatments and drug administration for a long time. Therefore, the management of drug administration for stroke patients was prone to errors. The aim of this study to determine the profile of the use of the digestive and respiratory system during hospitalization in stroke patients, and to evaluate drug related problems that occurred. This study used non-experimental research with a descriptive evaluative design that was retrospective, by tracking data from medical records. This research was conducted by examining 17 medical records of patients. The characteristics of stroke patients in RSUP Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten in 2018 covered type of stroke ischemic stroke suffer more than hemorrhagic strokes, with total ischemic stroke 13 patients and hemorrhagic stroke 4 patients. Most ischemic strokes suffer at age 59-70 were found as many as 8 patients. Most hemorrhagic strokes suffer at age 48-59 was found in 2 patients while also suffer at age 59-70 as 2 patients .The most common according to gender was an ischemic stroke with the female gender. The minimum length of treatment was 12 days for hemorrhagic stroke and the longest was 15 days for ischemic stroke. Profile of the use of digestive system drugs used in this study was ranitidine, ciprofloxacin, omeprazole, ondansetron, levofloxacin, sucralfat, laxadyn, ondansetron, urdafalk. Profile of the use of digestive system drugs used in this study was ambroxol, ciprofloxacin, and levofloxacin. In stroke patients who got the digestive system and respiratory system occurred Drug Related Problems, namely no wrong drug cases were found, there were no cases of doses too low, cases of doses too high were found in 1 patients, 4 cases of drug side effect reactions and drug interactions were found in 2 patients.
