Abstract

ABSTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ANALYSIS OF MABRUR SAVINGS (HAJJ SAVING) TOWARD INCREASING THE NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS (Case Study At Bank Syariah Mandiri Bogor Branch Office In 2018) Nur Afifah 37.2016.4.1.81363 The high enthusiasm of Muslims in Indonesia who want to perform the pilgrimage to the Holy Land Mecca is one of the problems that must be faced by institutions that collect pilgrimage funds in order to provide a good management system. Of the various institutions that offer Hajj fund-savings services, there are still many that use conventional system. Moreover, any Hajj fund-raising institution should be able to carry out its function properly as a fund manager, because the Hajj is worth worship. Unfortunately, some Hajj fund- raising institutions still does not fully play a role as a shariah-based collection institution so that the public can run pilgrimage smoothly. In 2018, it was found that there were still Hajj-saving funds through financial institutions that were not based on Islamic principles, such as in Bank Mandiri, Bank Syariah Mandiri in the city of Bogor, West Java is one of the Banks that has implemented the Shariah principle and manages the collection of Hajj funds in what is commonly known as Mabrur savings. The management of Mabrur (Hajj) savings Bogor can provide assistance to the community or prospective pilgrims to be able to go to the Holy Land of Mecca. Bank Syariah Mandiri was first established in 1999, driven by the currence of the financial crisis in 1997. The goal of Bank Syariah Mandiri's establishment was to provide solutions to the public when provide solutions to the public when facing the economic crisis. Base on that this study was conducted to determine the Mabrur savings management system to increase the number of customers in BSM Bogor Barnch Office in 2018. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data synthesis techniques involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The result showed that the management system of Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Bogor Office can provide a good Hajj-savings management system that meet the requirements of their customers and prospective Hajj travelers who will leave for the Holy Land. The management system at Bank Shariah Mandiri Bogor Branch Office acts as a main supporter of the government program as a Bank to receive Hajj fund deposits. The presence of a savings management system safe and secure that can be applied by other islamic banks. So, prospective pilgrims can deposit their Hajj funds without worrying about not being able to perform the pilgrimage.
