RISK FACTORS RELATED TO NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF TEACHING-STUDENTAT THE UNIVERSITY OF DARUSSALAM GONTOR FOR GIRLS

Abstract
Adolescents are a period of transition from childhood into adulthood. The student of the teacher at the University of Darussalam Gontor for girls is a graduated student who served as educators as well as a student. At this time many teaching-student who started pay attention to the nutritional status of each. Some of the risk factors associated with the nutritional status of teaching-student include knowledge of nutrition, dietary pattern, body image, mental-emotional, physical activity, and sleep duration. The purpose of this study was to prove the risk factors associated with the nutritional status of teaching-student at the University of Darussalam Gontor for girls. This study used cross-sectional methods with 94 teaching-students at the University of DarussalamGontor for girls. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted by interview used FFQ and IPAQ-SH, questionnaires of nutritional knowledge, body image, emotional and mental condition, sleep duration, and anthropometric measurements. Data analysis used statistical correlation test Gamma (α=0,05). The results showed no significant correlation between nutrition knowledge (p=0,165), dietary pattern (p=0,156), mental-emotional condition (p=0,916), physical activity (p=0,385), the duration of sleep (p=0,156) with nutritional status. There was a significant correlation between body image and nutritional status (p=0,030). It is expected that the teaching-student to maintain a normal nutritional status to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Keywords: nutritional status, risk factors,teaching-student
