THE STRATEGY OF DEVELOPMENT INDONESIAN HALAL INDUSTRY MARKET THROUGH MULTITRACK DIPLOMACY IN TATARSTAN
Abstract
This research aimed to analyze the efforts of developing the Indonesian halal industry
market in Tatarstan through the Multitrack Diplomacy. In addition, this research analyze
and also aimed to describe the issue, the author used a qualitative approach with descriptive
method. In this study, the data collection was gotten from journals, books, theses, as well
as documents and reports obtained from the internet. This study used three conceptual
frameworks in research, such as the concept of national interest, the halal industry and
the theory of Multitrack diplomacy. National interest showed the Indonesia’n economic
interests related to the expansion of the halal industry market. In the theory of Multitrack
diplomacy as the conceptual basis used in this study, the researcher seen that effort to
develop the Indonesian halal industry market are carried out through international activities
involving the support of several actors. The strategy in the first diplomatic track the States
as an actor. This effort was carried out by the Indonesian government and institutions,
namely the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Russian Federation and the
Indonesian Institute of Halal Lifestyle Center. At the effort to develop the halal industry,
which is carried out through from the second track, involving professional actors and
community delegates at the International Economic Summit Russia-Islamic Word 2019.
In Multitrack diplomacy track was the contribution of Indonesian business people and
companies in the Russian halal expo and the Indonesia-Russia Business Forum and also
media communication as actor providing opinion
