Abstract

Wayang was the one proof of Javanese ancestor's inheritance. The predecessor used wayang as the reflection of human life in the world. This inheritance that full of the wise values and rich of philosophy life. Besides of being social consolation, wayang was choosen by some wali as mediator of Islamic proselytizing because of it was closed by the societies. Finally, wayang was in it glory from every side. Nowadays, Wayang was lost his glory era which ever glowed in every art stages in Indonesia. The teenagers had forgot the moralities value in it, also forgot about the proof of some wali's effort on spreading Islamic values especially in Javanese. On Islamic developing era, many characters and stories which full of Islamic values and philosophy life was appeared. As like Punakawan, that was centered by Semar. Semar is a figure central in wayang world. Considering the base characteristic of Javanese loved the symbolic thing, So Semar is a symbol of Javanese which full of Qur'anic philosophy. Based on this background, this research has a purpose for knowing the Islamic values in Semar-self. Researching Some wali's step in their effort for spreading Islamic religion in Java Island especially, and Semar's impact of directing the Javanese's worldview to the worldview which full of Islamic values. The sources that used by researcher was the primary source such us many literatures and book which researching Semar globally. The secondary sources which from many sources that advocating the primary sources. This sources gotten from literal method that collecting and research many concerned sources. And it was followed by analyzing the sources. The method that used by researcher are descriptive analytic and history method. The researcher also use the philosophy approach for this research Resulting research from the researcher that Javanese societies are societies which have the high characteristic of religious and spiritual and it was stuck in Javanese-self. The Javanese self believe in extradionary and powerful soul or power. But, on pre-Islamic era the Javanese have translated their belief by animism and dynamism. Here, some wali's role for directing the Javanese worldview. Finally, wayang as the one of mediator for Islamic spreading. Such as Semar, that a symbol for translating the Javanese faiti based of a worldview that full of Qur'anic values. With backing of the base characteristic of Javanese that existence of Semar was acceptable. And could be understanding that ssome wali was succeeding for Islamic spreading especially in Java Island. That spreading was troughing of the philosophy values which in wayang and especially Semar. The suggestion that given from the research was suitable with this research, that the teenagers may discuss more about Islamic values that inside of wayang world and research more about philosophy life that stuck by some wali in every character and story of Wayang Purwa. Considered of the content in it, that full of moralities values which based on Qur'ani values in wayang world. And conserving the creation result from the Javanese ancestor in Java Island. Then, for the next researcher to make the research more perfect and dig the content deeply about moralities values and the philosophy in it.
