Abstract

Messianism ideology that is awaiting the presence of a "messiah" that will save humanity and justice for the inhabitants of the earth. Messianic ides was originally rooted in cultures that developed around the Mediterranean area. During its developrotot, the Messianic concept which is believed by civilizations that exist around the Mediterranean, transformed into teachings of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. There are values of divinity, which color the Messianic anic concept in in the three religions. Although in the end the concept that they build have differences with each other. Messianism concept is closely related to the end of time, the forecast every religion about the depravity and destruction of the world's very colored of this concept. Therefore, the discussion of messianism become of the interesting discussion, because it could be one aspect of how a religion behave and prepare for the arrival of their messiah respectively. Jewish is a religion and also the nation who claim themselves Special among the nations and religions of others. However, their privileges are not follov followed by a pesceful history of their nation. For omturies, Jews oppressed nations and religions. Therefore, they are awaiting the presence of their messiah, to bring their nation out of the darkness. The attack on Palestine, and the establishment of the Zionist state is one of their efforts to bring their Messiah into the world. Syiah is one of the sect of the Islam. Perversions which contained in the teachirus of the Syiah maks many scholars stated that they are infidels, and is not part of the Islam itself. Their perversity exception contained in the trachings of messianism. In Islam, the Messiah called the fahdi. Syiah heresy into this Messiah concept, makes one portal that Shi'ism is an infiltration of Jewish teachings, because fundamental similarities in both religions. In this study, the writer use a historical method, comparative studies and analyala. At first the writer argues the history of each niligion, then just explaining bow the conсер of Messiah in each doctrine. After that, writer look for the sameness and differences in the concept of Messiah, which is present in both Judaism and the Syiah. From this study, the writer obtain result that the concept Imam Mahdi into Syiah doctrion, borrowed from the concept into Jewish Messiah. Although there are slight differences, but both it have same mscoce both concepts, the Messiah they reincarnated again, that previously have been present to the world, but by God was appointed to heaven and then be lowered back to earth at the end of the time, so Ther's one of the results of research in this thesis, although the writer are awawn that there are many deficiencies, but the writer hope that this paper will someday be useful for next researchers and also for all the Muslims
