RELIGIOUS BLASPHEMY ACCORDING TO HUMAN RIGHTS IN ISLAM

Abstract
Nowadays so many international rules developed and established to realize the enforcement of human rights, especially the right to freedom of expression and opinion. Human rights are the most complicated issue and challenge it's doctrine is now also so powerful. Those Human Rights was being such of protection for any freedoms in this today's world. Such as, freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and freedom of opinion as well. By way of contrast, some people in the name of the freedom commit sacrilege against religion; it was religious blasphemy. There are many people argue, that blasphemy is a part of freedom, either expression or speech. While, the status of religious Blasphemy in human rights is also a hotly debated issue, it is an important part of human rights protection because it is inseparable from issue of religious discrimination, hatred and intolerance. Accordingly, blasphemy is the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack or reverence for a religious deity or the irreverence towards religious or holy person or things. Blasphemy has a long and vicious history in all canonical religions. In Islam, Christianity, Buddhist, Hinduism, and Sikh. This study aimed to examine the origin and development of Human rights and religious blasphemy. The writer employed some methods, which emphasized the interconnectedness and relationship between Liberalism in the west, freedom in expression and opinion, with religious Blasphemy. As we know, in recent years the subject of Religious Blasphemy has become a topic of heated debate. This work is a pioneering attempt in examining both the evidence on freedom of expression in the sources of the Shari'ah and the limitations, whether moral, legal or theological, that Islam imposes on the valid exercise of this freedom, but in frame of Shari'ah. The researcher found that, the subject of this study is very important in today's world, therefore this study attempted to present, in an integrated manner, how human rights has a tight relation with freedom and caused a religious blasphemy in the past and present as well. Another methods used, which contributed to an exposition of the origin Blasphemy in west. Critical and analytical methods were used together the data and to examine various genres such as the writer attempted to select, analyze, evaluate and synthesize the data from such sources by using internal and external criticism. The findings of this study indicate that there was a clear relationship between freedoms of expression, the protection of human rights with the cases of blasphemy. From this topic, the writer concludes the main term in several points. In Islam, there is no exact equivalent the notion of blasphemy, but offering insult to God, to the prophets, or any part of divine revelation constitutes as crime under Islamic religious law. Islam also involved in human rights discourse needs to be viewed as a natural thing as it also occurs in the majority group in other countries. Islam secures the human rights even for those who may violate the human rights of others. Those are the conclusion the writer can submit from this subject. The writer was aware that her writing is less than perfect, therefore, the writer wishes to other researchers to observe more comprehensive about problem of Religious Blasphemy.
