ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perjuangan seorang wanita muda untuk menyerahkan kotak surat dan mendapatkan tanda tangan seorang lelaki tua yang berada di Praha. Adegan tersebut tervisualisasi dalam film Surat dari Praha. Penelitian ini juga mencari makna perjuangan yang terkandung dalam setiap adegan dalam film tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode analisis narasi yang menggunakan karakter fungsi pelaku Vladimir Propp. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggambaran 31 fungsi karakter, mengetahui karakter oposisi berlawanan dalam film. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan penulis adalah menonton original film Surat dari Praha serta melakukan wawancara dengan penulis film tersebut yaitu M. Irfan Ramli. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu fungsi pelaku sebanyak 16 fungsi pelaku makna perjuangan dari 31 fungsi pelaku. Diawali dengan situasi awal yang kemudian diikuti dengan fungsi pelaku. Terdapat pengulangan fungsi yang terjadi namun pada peristiwa yang berbeda. Seperti pada narasi ke 4 dan 8 sama-sama memiliki fungsi Mediasi. Struktur fungsi pelaku makna perjuangan dalam film Surat dari Praha apabila disusun yaitu sebagai berikut: α, M, ↑, B, A, Rs, γ, B, D, δ, ε, E, C, N, H, dan Ex. The scene is visualized in the film Surat from Prague. Then this study also sought the meaning of the struggle contained in each scene in the film. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a narrative analysis method that uses the character of the Vladimir Propp performer’s function. The focus of this research is to describe the description of 31 character functions, knowing the opposing opposition characters in the film. The data collection technique used by the writer is watching the original film Surat from Prague and conducting interviews with the film’s writer, M. Irfan Ramli. The results obtained from this study are the function of actors as many as 16 functions of the meaning of the struggle of 31 functions of the perpetrators. Starting with the initial situation which is then followed by the function of the perpetrator. There is a repetition of functions that occur but in different events. As in narration 4 and 8 both have the Mediation function.
