Abstract

Nowaday, Amil Zakah Agency (BAZ) not only distributed zakah fund in consumtive form but also in productive form. With the purpose that mustaiq who gets productive zakah fund as venture capital able to develope their bussiness then increase their income and their economic conditions. Based on this background of study, this research aimed to know BAZ Sragen strategies on 2011 to collect and manage zakah also how far the influence of zakah which distributed in productive form, are mustahiq conditions before and after getting zakah fund influences toward the increasing their income and economic conditions or not. Source of data of the research are: primary resource is the direct information from BAZ Sragen and respondents answers of questionnaire. Secondary resource gained from the data that supports primary resource. Techniques of collecting data used in this research are questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. The method of data analysis is product moment correlation, multiple regressions, T-test, and F-test. The observation result which done by the researcher For collecting zakah, BAZ Sragen done some implemented mechanism through zakah collector unit (UPZ) of any existing institution in Sragen and individually. For managing zakah funds, BAZ Sragen distributed zakah funds not only distributes zakah funds in the form of consumptive, but also in productive form. The result of paired samples statistics indicated an increasing income of whole samples after receiving zakah funds. From both average incomes before and after getting zakah fund, there is a difference in average income about Rp. 291,000. Based on paired samples test, t-value is -0.605 <t-table it is 1.833, with the significance 0.560 0.05 then Ho or there are no significant differences between mustahig average income before and after getting productive zakah fund accepted and Ha or there are significant differences between mustahiq average income before and after getting productive zakah fund rejected. Then concluded that zakah fund did not influence on mustahiq average income enough, for increasing their income and economic conditions.
