Ibn Miskawaih besides is famous as the father of Islamic Ethics is apparently also contributed his thinking in economics. In addition to Ibn Miskawaih thought in science education there is also his thinking in economics. One of his thinking in economics which is about the concept of money exchange and the role of money. The approach in the writing is done using qualitative methods of study namely libraries (Library Research). Results from the study indicate the man is a social creature that most membutuhkann of each other to meet the needs of goods and services. Therefore, human beings will do the exchange of goods and services with the right compensation (reward, al-mukafat al-mukafat almunasihab). In Exchange the money will serve as an assessment tool and stabilisation (almuqawwim al-musawwi baynahuma) in Exchange, so can the pace of Justice.
