Integrasi Ilmu dan Agama menurut Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas dan Ian G Barbour
Abstract
The relationship between science and religion is that there is a relationship between the two in
history has clashed. For Islamic science, religion is inherently inseparable from science. Islamic
science adheres to dîn or religion. Islam is based on the revelation of the Holy Qur'an. Syed
Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and Ian G Barbour are very influential figures in the world of
Education, especially in the field of Religion and Science. Al-Attas is famous for his ideas of
Religious Integration and Science. For Muslim scientists the Qur'an is a source of knowledge
from which all disciplines are developed. Shari'ah such as, Aqidah and Fiqh, using comparative
descriptive this paper finds in the integration of religion and science The Upper Al-through the
classification stage of three elements: the infinity of science, the glory of responsibility for
seeking it and the limitations of human life. Ian G. Barbour has an opinion on the integration
between religion and science of relationships that is intensively observed from the relationship
approach by seeking the right integrity of science and religion
