FIQH ECOLOGY ANALYSIS OF WASTE PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT AT NJ TOFU FACTORY BANDUNG
Abstract
The tofu industry produced significant waste that has the significant risk to
pollute the environment without a proper handled. As a culinary city that has various
types of tofu, Bandung certainly has the potential to be polluted by the tofu industry.
So, it is necessary to optimise the waste management. The purpose of this research
is to find out how the waste management process carried out by the NJ Bandung
Tofu Factory, and how waste management is based on environmental fiqh
principles. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type.
Data collection techniques through interviews conducted to the tofu manager at the
NJ Bandung tofu factory. The results of the research conducted by researchers show
that there are several aspects that have not been carried out optimally, namely in the
management of liquid waste discharged directly into waterways which is very likely
to cause water pollution that damages the underwater ecosystem and can even be a
source of disease for humans and other living things. Based on the results of the
study, researchers hope that waste management can be carried out optimally and
consistently. Business actors are also expected to provide socialisation to local
residents so that all levels of society play an important role in preserving the
environment.
