Abstract

The Qur'an serves as a guide that explains various aspects of human life, including Economics issues. The story of the Prophet Shuaib, sent to the Madyans, highlights important moral and ethical lessons related to trade by emphasizing the importance of fairness in measurement and transactions. This narrative criticizes dishonest practices common among Madyans, such as fraud in scales and bribery, which are relevant to today's Economics challenges. The main purpose of this research is to explain the paradigm of Economics concepts related to the Qur'an and analyze the specific Economics teachings conveyed by the Prophet Shuaib to the Madyans. In this study, the researcher applies the thematic interpretation method as an approach to analyze verses related to the story of the Prophet Shuaib in various surahs in the Qur'an. By examining these texts, the study seeks to connect history lessons with contemporary Economics issues, providing insight into how these ancient teachings may have influenced current practice. And using a descriptive method to describe this research and continued with an analysis method to analyze verses related to the story of the Prophet Shuaib. The type of research used is library research. Researchers found that the Economics concept of the Prophet Shuaib taught many lessons that the importance of faith, honestly and sosial justice in Economics practice; that harmony with Islamic moral and ethical principes and to maintain harmony in society; must be aware of the consequence of their actions and realize that every action will have an accountability before God. An economy must be based on the monotheistic paradigm so as to create a good economy. Not only that, he also called on traders to practice ethical trading in accordance with Divine guidance, encouraging the creation of a fairer Economics landscape today. This research is still far from perfect, starting from the study and research related to the Economics concept of the Prophet Shuaib which is reviewed from the perspective of the Qur'an. Because this effort is not easy, therefore the researcher hopes that there will be further research so that this research will be better and perfect.
