Cash waqf in Indonesia has great potential to support the welfare of the community and economic development with flexible collection, easy access, and productive management. However, challenges such as low public literacy, lack of professionalism of nadzir, minimal transparency, and less than optimal use of technology still hamper its effectiveness. To overcome these obstacles, massive education, increasing the capacity of nadzir, and optimizing digital technology are needed so that cash waqf can be managed more transparently, accountably, and contribute maximally to sustainable development. Cash waqf can develop well if managed in the right way, of course the management of cash waqf must refer to Islamic law, researchers conducted a descriptive analysis of the cash waqf management program that has been carried out by the Ar Risalah Waqf Foundation, Padang. The purpose of this study is to determine the mechanism of cash waqf at the Ar Risalah Waqf Foundation which will then be reviewed with maqashid sharia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method where researchers will visit the Ar Risalah Waqf Foundation, Padang to describe the mechanism of cash waqf. Data collection techniques used by researchers include observations of cash waqf management, structural interviews with foundation parties and also documentation through books, reports and archives of cash waqf management at the foundation. The results of the study indicate that the cash waqf mechanism carried out by the Ar Risalah Waqf Foundation, Padang, is in accordance with Islamic law. The Ar Risalah Waqf Foundation manages cash waqf funds in a way that ensures productive asset growth and distribution of the proceeds to social programs that support education, health, and community economic empowerment. This approach not only maintains and develops waqf assets, but also contributes to improving the quality of life and the welfare of the community as a whole. Thus, the cash waqf mechanism at Ar Risalah Waqf Foundation has been in line with all aspects of maqasid sharia, creating a balance between worldly and spiritual needs for the community.
