This research discusses Al-Jazeera's coverage of the boycott of pro-Israel products in Qatar using a citizen diplomacy perspective. The main focus of the research is how Al-Jazeera's coverage shapes public opinion and encourages Qatari citizens to participate in the boycott of products affiliated with Israel. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, analyzing the content of AlJazeera's coverage from 2023–2024, as well as primary data in the form of questionnaires regarding the responses of Qatari citizens. The research findings indicate that Al-Jazeera consistently presents a narrative biased toward Palestine, emphasizing the humanitarian dimension, civilian suffering, and issues of boycotts and the BDS campaign. This coverage strongly shapes public opinion, leading Qatari citizens, as non-state actors, to actively engage in citizen diplomacy. These forms of engagement include using local products, digital and field campaigns, closing businesses affiliated with Israel, and strengthening proPalestinian civil organizations. This finding confirms that Al-Jazeera not only serves as an information provider but also as an instrument of media diplomacy capable of directing collective societal action. Thus, this study concludes that AlJazeera's coverage successfully represents the 4th and 2nd typologies of citizen diplomacy, where media ideas transform into real actions by the public in weakening economic support for Israel. This indicates that public diplomacy mediated by mass media can be an effective form of soft power in strengthening solidarity toward Palestine while also enhancing Qatar's role in international humanitarian issues.
