Abstract

Exports are one of the important things in the running of the economy in a certain country. This quantitative research analyzes the influence of exchange rates, inflation rates, and gross domestic product (GDP) on the value of exports in one of the second largest organizations after the United Nations (UN), namely the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). A sample of 10 countries with the highest export values over the past 10 years was taken. Using panel data regression data processing techniques, namely a combination of time series data and cross-section data. The results of this study explain that the exchange rate has a significant negative effect on exports in OIC member countries. Then gross domestic product has a significant positive effect on export variables in OIC member countries. Then inflation has a significant positive effect on export variables in OIC member countries. Also, the three independent variables have a simultaneous or simultaneous effect on the dependent variable, namely the export value. With this research, it is hoped that in the future it will be appropriate in decision-making related to exports, especially in OIC member countries, namely to pay attention and carefully observe the fluctuating exchange rate. For investors to collaborate with the government, the rules and regulations in each country are different, especially in OIC member countries.
