CHURCH MINISTRY PRACTICE IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF CONGREGATION ST. PETRUS CHURCH MANTINGAN
Abstract
The Catholic Church is a universal church, which unites people with the aim of bringing them to Christ. However, the form of ministry in each diocese is different because each region has different social, cultural, economic, and resource conditions. The church's own ministry is a form of complete surrender to God. Everyone who accepts the call to ministry reflects that they come from God and have been endowed with the gift of Christ's love. The different contexts in each region affect the focus and emphasis in ministry so that the Church can respond to the needs of the people in a relevant and appropriate manner.
This study aims to describe the practice of worship ministries in St. Petrus Church and identify various types of ministry practices that are implemented in the context of the church and scriptural verses. This type of research uses a descriptive-qualitative method of analysis. Object research through surveys, interviews, document analysis, and various sources of books and journal articles. Using an anthropological approach in social studies examines an object by looking at the views of social society in church activities.
