The instruments used by the researcher in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. In this case, the respondents were selected by using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques are used in data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification.
The findings of this research show that students used 23.5% of SVA, 20.5% of SVC, 16% of SVO, 34% of SVOA, and 6% of SVOC from the total 68 sentences. Moreover, several factors affect students' experiences of difficulties in word order: language proficiency, first language influence, cognitive development, instructional quality, exposure and practice, context and usage, and individual learning styles.
