THE APPLICATION OF POWERPOINT LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON THE ISPRING SUITE APPLICATION TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF 6 GRADE STUDENTS IN FIQH LESSONS AT MI SEMESTA MOJOKERTO
Abstract
Innovative learning media is needed to improve student learning
outcomes, especially in Fiqh lessons. An effective learning process requires
interactive and interesting media so that students better understand the
material. This study shows that grade 6B students at MI Semesta Mojokerto
have difficulty understanding Fiqh material, which has an impact on their
low activeness and learning outcomes which are below the minimum score.
This is due to the lack of variety of learning media used by teacher so that
students tend to be less enthusiastic and get bored quickly.
Therefore, this study formulates the use of Powerpoint learning
media based on the Ispring suite application to improve the lifelines
achievement and learning outcomes of these students. Interactive media
from powerpoint that is specially designed so that students can more easily
understand the material and not get bored. Because in this interactive media
there are several things that interest students and give a new impression and
are not monotonous as before.
Classroom Action Research is the methodology used. According to
the theory of Kemmis and MC Taggart, There are several stages involved in
carrying out this research, namely planning, implementation, observation,
and reflection. This implementation is in 2 cycles or 2 times of learning. The
data obtained were collected through learning outcomes tests, observatio of
student activities and documentation of the learning process. The research
subjects were class 6B students totaling 24 people.
The result of this study indicates that the application of Powerpoint
learning media based on the Ispring suite application can significantly
improve student learning outcomes and students activeness. there is a
significant increase in student learning outcomes after learning. In cycle 1,
the average student score was 70% until an increase was found in cycle II
which was 90%
Based on the findings, the suggestion is for teachers to consider the
application of interactive learning media in class and school as well as
conduct training to optimally utilize the abundance of technology in the
delivery of learning materials. The development of interactive and
innovative media can also be applied to other subjects to improve the overall
quality of learning. In addition, training for teacher on the use of
technology-based learning applications needs to be done to support the
implementation of more varied media.
