Abstract
ABSTRACT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE WIZER.ME EDUCATIONAL QUIZ IN ENHANCING STUDENTS LEARNING RESULT IN FIQH FOR GRADE VIII STUDENTS AT MODERN BOARDING SCHOOL DARUSSALAM KRASAK EAST CILAMAYA Zahra Putri Rusdiyani 422021118160 Fiqh is a core subject in the Islamic education curriculum that is essential to study and apply in daily life. However, the learning result in Fiqh remain suboptimal. On the other hand, the Wizer.me educational quiz is a tool used for creating quizzes as an interactive evaluation medium. It is a software platform equipped with comprehensive features while maintaining ease of use for its users. To enhancing learning result, the researcher seeks to investigate the effectiveness of the Wizer.me educational quiz on students' learning result in the topics of combined and shortened prayers (sholat jamak dan qoshor) and funeral prayers (sholat jenazah). The aims of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Wizer.me educational quiz on Fiqh learning result for the topics of combined and shortened prayers (sholat jamak dan qoshor) and funeral prayers (sholat jenazah) among Grade 8 students at Modern Boarding School Darussalam Krasak East Cilamaya. This research was conducted using a quantitative-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design approach. The population in this study consisted of all Grade 8 students at Modern Boarding School Darussalam Krasak East Cilamaya, with a research sample of 62 students selected using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data collection method employed was a test method supplemented with documentation. Data analysis was performed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov formula, homogeneity test of variance, and Independent Sample T-test with the assistance of SPSS 26. From this study, it was concluded that the Wizer.me educational quiz was proven effective for learning Fiqh on the topics of combined and shortened prayers (sholat jamak dan qoshor) and funeral prayers (sholat jenazah), with a t-test result of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.003 < 0.05. Based on the conclusions, the researcher proposes several suggestions: (1) The Wizer.me educational quiz offers a valuable alternative for teachers in Fiqh learning. By carefully selecting learning materials and aligning them with appropriate assessment indicators, teachers can utilize Wizer.me to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students. (2) It is recommended that school principals effectively guide and mentor teachers to improve the quality of teaching and learning practices in schools, ensuring that these practices align with the ever-evolving educational landscape and ultimately enhance student learning result. (3) This research is expected to contribute new knowledge to the field of educational technology by exploring the effectiveness of the Wizer.me educational quiz in guiding student learning and knowledge retention in Fiqh subject.
