Abstract
Diversity is a natural phenomenon in people's lives that is increasingly evident with the development of globalization. Differences in culture, race, ethnicity, religion, and outlook on life often lead to conflict. However, from the perspective of the Qur'an, diversity is sunnatullāh, a divine law of Allah, which should be the source of harmony. Sayyid Qutb, through his interpretation of Fī Z{ilāl al-Qur'ān, emphasized the importance of justice as the main principle in managing diversity to create a just and harmonious society. This research aims to analyze the concept of justice according to Sayyid Qutb and analyze its relevance in diversity management. That way, the concept of justice can guide dealing with the diversity that exists in society. This research is literature-based using a descriptive analysis method. The approach used is thematic interpretation by collecting verses related to justice in the Qur'an. Then, analyze these verses and relate them to diversity management. The results achieved in this study show that justice in the Quran, according to Qutb, includes three main dimensions: tauhid, manhaj rabbani, and social. This is based on the Qur'an, which emphasizes the integral relationship between man and Allah, man with divine laws, and man with his neighbor. As for the relationship with diversity management, the concept of justice, according to Qutb, can be the main basis for realizing unity in diversity, with tauhid as the basis of unity that views human unity and divine values and manhaj rabbani that guarantees universal and objective justice. Justice also demands equality of rights without discrimination and teaches tolerance and compassion so that it can be a guideline in the midst of diverse community life. The author realises that this research is still incomplete. This study has some limitations that need further exploration. Constructive feedback and suggestions are welcome to improve this scope. Future research should expand the analysis of justice in diverse contexts, especially by examining how social structures may lead to discrimination.
