Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of literacy, social interest and religiosity Generation Z’s participation in implementing ZISWAF. Generation Z was chosen as the object of research because of their important role in utilizing digital technology and social media that can encourage more effective and efficient management of ZISWAF. However, although the potential of ZISWAF in Indonesia is very large, the participation rate of Generation Z is still relatively low it is suspected to be influenced by the low literacy of ZISWAF and various social and religious factors. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through a questionnaire distributed to 100 generation Z respondents in Indonesia. The sampling technique used purposive sampling to ensure that respondents had knowledge related to ZISWAF. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the SPSS program. The results showed that ZISWAF literacy did not have a significant effect on the participation of Generation Z in ZISWAF, which indicates that the basic knowledge of ZISWAF has not sufficiently encouraged active participation. Meanwhile, social attitudes have a positive and significant influence on the participation of Generation Z. Religiosity does not show a significant influence on participation, which may be caused by differences in the level of understanding and application of religious values in daily life. Simultaneously, ZISWAF literacy, social interest and religiosity have a significant effect on the participation of generation Z in ZISWAF. The results of this study show that to increase the participation of Generation Z in ZISWAF, a more comprehensive strategy is needed that not only focuses on improving literacy but also on strengthening social attitudes. The practical implications of this study are the importance of collaboration between ZISWAF management institutions, educational institutions, and digital communities to increase ZISWAF literacy and build social awareness among Generation Z. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference in formulating more effective strategies to encourage the participation of Generation Z in the sustainable management of ZISWAF.
