Abstract
Fiqh is one of the Islamic Sharia sciences that discusses the laws of Sharia, which govern various aspects of human life. However, Fiqh's learning outcomes have often resulted in suboptimal outcomes. The main cause of this issue is traditional teaching methods, such as lectures, which resulted drowsiness in students due to the monotonous and unattractiveness learning atmosphere. As a result, students' learning outcomes do not meet the standard. One way to do this is to use the Canva application as a technology-based learning media. Teachers can use this application online to create interesting learning materials, especially in the context of Fiqh subject. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the use of interactive multimedia learning media based on the Canva application impacts the effectiveness of the learning outcomes of grade VIII students in the Fiqh subject at MTsN 9 Bantul academic year 2024-2025. This research employed quantitative research methods with an experimental approach discovered by Wilhelm Wundt in the 19th century. The data analysis technique used a t-test with SPSS 25. The targeted subjects were class VIII students at MTsN 9 Bantul, data collection by observation, test, and documentation. From this research, the conclusion is that in the pre-test for the experimental and control classes, the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.410 > 0.05 indicates no difference between the two classes. However, in the post-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05 leads to the rejection of Ho and the acceptance of Ha. This indicates the effectiveness of implementing interactive multimedia learning media based on the Canva application on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students in the Fiqh subject at MTsN 9 Bantul. With this research, it is recommended that students should focus on understanding the material. It is suggested that teachers use and select appropriate media for the subjects they will teach, for school to provide media use training for teachers. And for researcher, it is hoped that this study will deepen knowledge regarding the effectiveness of interactive multimedia learning media based on Canva on the Fiqh learning outcomes.
