A constructive organizational communication climate significantly contributes to the achievement of institutional objectives, particularly in fostering students’ motivation to learn. This study investigates the extent to which the organizational communication climate influences students’ learning motivation within the Language Courses Department (LCD) at the Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Institution (DGMII). The research is grounded in the theoretical frameworks of organizational communication climate by Pace and Faules and learning motivation by Perry and colleagues. Employing a quantitative method with an explanatory-associative design, the study involves a total population of 96 students from the LCD. Data were gathered using validated and reliable questionnaires. Analytical techniques include frequency distribution, correlation analysis, normality testing, and simple linear regression to assess the relationship and influence between the variables. The findings reveal that the organizational communication climate scored 5.368 (77.66%), while students’ learning motivation scored 3.743 (81.23%), both falling under the "very good" category. The correlation coefficient (r = 0.639) indicates a strong positive and significant relationship between the two variables. The regression model, expressed as Y = 12.038 + 0.482X, demonstrates that 40.9% of the variance in learning motivation is attributed to the organizational communication climate, while the remaining 59.1% is explained by other variables. The hypothesis test result shows an F-value of 64.994, which exceeds the critical F-value of 3.94, with a significance level of p = 0.000 < 0.05. These results confirm that organizational communication climate has a significant impact on students’ learning motivation in the LCD at DGMII.
