THE MANAGEMENT OF THE GRAND ASRILIA HOTEL BANDUNG ON THE PERSPECTIVE ISLAMIC TOURISM CRITERIA
Abstract
This research is motivated by a process of many not clear places, one of which is a hotel for Muslim tourists to stay with sharia-based. Grand Asrilia Bandung Hotel is a hotel located in the capital city of West Java, the hotel is a family hotel whose system is sharia-based however it is not whally complited with fiqh of tourism The problem in this study is about how the system for the management of the Grand Asrilia Bandung hotel and how the application of Islamic Tourism criteria review to the management of the Grand Asrilia Bandung hotel. This research aims to find out the system for the management of the Grand Asrilia Bandung hotel and to find out the review Islamic Tourism criteria of the management of the Grand Asrilia Bandung hotel. This research uses a qualitative method in which this method explains a phenomenon or event. This is in accordance with the definition of qualitative research, a study that produces descriptive data in the form of words or spoken from people and from observable behavior. This research data source uses primary and secondary data sources, this data collection uses interviews and documentation, this data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate: first, that the Grand Asrilia Bandung hotel has a good system, and does not contain elements that are prohibited by the government. The second is that this hotel is still Muslim-friendly. The results of this study indicate: first, the Grand Asrilia Bandung Hotel has a good governance system, a good sharia hotel is one that meets the MUI fatwa standards. Based on the results of this study, there are several recommendations, namely: first, it is recommended to further improve it to become a good sharia hotel for halal tourism in Indonesia, second, to carry out MUI halal certification to the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency in accordance with the Islamic tourism criteria perspective.
