Abstract
ABSTRACT This research examines the development of productive waqf through DQ Resto at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Campus 5 Darul Qiyam Magelang. Productive waqf is a strategic solution in improving economic and social welfare, especially in Islamic educational institutions such as pesantren. DQ Resto, as a waqf-based business unit, is professionally managed by the asatidz by integrating Islamic values. The profits generated, reaching 15-20 million per month, are allocated to support the pesantren's operations, educational programs, and the welfare of teachers and students. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative with a field research approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document studies related to the management of DQ Resto. The results show that this productive waqf management is in line with the principles of fiqh waqf, particularly istibdal (development of waqf assets), which ensures sustainable benefits without reducing the asset's principal value. DQ Resto also functions as a means of da'wah and education, as well as providing economic and social impacts for the surrounding community. The conclusion of this study confirms that DQ Resto is a clear example of effective productive waqf management that complies with sharia principles.Innovations in management, such as the buffet system and online ordering application, make DQ Resto relevant to the times. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to the development of productive waqf in Indonesia, especially in the context of Islamic educational institutions.
